You are probably already aware of the fact that Invictus Martial Arts is a HUGE supporter of our local schools and PTA’s! From generous donations to fun booths to FREE seminars, there are so many local schools we LOVE to support. In fact, Invictus actively sponsors the Rutledge Elementary PTA and hosted a Martial Arts Club at Harmony Public Schools for the 2019-2020 school year… just to name a few.
Fortunately, we took our commitment to supporting our local schools one step further today. Invictus Martial Arts is proud to be an approved agency of Leander ISD to provide Off-Campus PE! This means Invictus members can elect to train in the martial arts that they love while earning PE credit from their school. Total win-win!

Friends, Families, and Neighbors Invited to Experience a Martial Arts Way of Life
Austin, TX | December 12, 2019
Invictus Martial Arts has opened a new state-of-the-art facility located at the SW corner of N. Lake Creek Pkwy. and Lakeline Mall Dr. across from the Lakeline Super Target in Northwest Austin.
“If you’re a person between the ages of 3 and 93, you’re invited to experience the power of belonging! We’re a passionate community of life-long learners committed to training and developing a martial arts way of life persevering through obstacles and always giving our best. Whether training together in class or easily managing your membership online through our website, at Invictus Martial Arts, you belong,” said co-owner and head instructor, Mr. Dave Hackbarth.
The owners set out with the vision of designing a one-of-a-kind training facility from the ground up in order to offer a world-class experience for everyone who walks through their door. “At Invictus Martial Arts, everything is by design. Our students will be training on the industry’s highest quality Dollamur Swain Hybrid tatami mats under anti-fatigue LED lighting while spectators can enjoy high-speed WiFi and complimentary coffee in our hospitality suite. And because we’re committed to sustainability and health, all our guests can benefit from our filtered water bottle refilling station,” said co-owner and program director, Mrs. Selynda Garza.
It’s rare to find an opportunity where families can participate together. That’s what sets Invictus Martial Arts apart. Not only do families experience the physical benefits of martial arts while training together, but all students quickly develop the attitude and mindset of a martial arts athlete that will last a lifetime.
Parents continually share how the Invictus instructors impact their kids. Billy Slater of Cedar Parkrecently shared, “Our son has achieved so much, not only in his martial arts studies but in all aspects of his life. It has been the difference-maker in his successes at school, at home, and everywhere he goes. His confidence, patience, and perseverance when problem-solving is the direct result of your program and your staff.”
In conjunction with its opening, Invictus will be hosting a public Pictures With Santa Event on Saturday, December 21st from 1-3pm. Donations are encouraged and all proceeds will benefit CASA of Travis County. RSVP on our Facebook Event or visit our Facebook page to learn more.
