Mrs. Garza has been training in the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do since 1991. In 1996, she earned her 1st geup red belt under the International Tae Kwon Do Federation.
In 2013, she began training in the style of Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do and earned her 1st degree black belt in 2016 and her 2nd degree black belt in 2018. Mrs. Garza is a certified instructor and has been developing black belt leaders in the Cedar Park area since 2014.
Mrs. Garza is passionate about living a life dedicated to wellness and fitness. She has participated in several half-marathons as well as the Austin full marathon. She is also an avid participant in obstacle course races and has completed The Warrior Dash as well as the Navy Seals’ Bonefrog Challenge.
Mrs. Garza also participates regularly in fitness related charity events such as The Murph Challenge, The Brute Force Mile, and The Brute Force Fight for The Fallen. Her life purpose is to build a strong community by promoting a martial arts lifestyle.
